About

I love food.  Eating, cooking, dining out, and especially shopping for it! In 2009 I was diagnosed with multiple food allergies/sensitivities and have since been seeking out ways to continue to eat well and stay healthy/allergic-reaction free.

I’m have tested sensitive to Corn, Wheat, Barley, Oat, Sweet Potato, Carrots, Peas, Peanuts, & Legumes, but over the years, been able to incorporate some of these foods back into my diet. I do have friends who have Celiac disease and now have a whole different level of understanding for what challenges they have overcome and continue to battle every day. My husband is also severely lactose-intolerant, so throwing that in the mix definitely makes for extra caution in my kitchen.

This site was developed to share my experiences living on a Corn-Free and Wheat-Free/Gluten-Free diet. I have found many resources for either a Wheat-Free OR Gluten-Free diet OR a Corn-Free diet, but not these restrictions combined.

I hope to hear/share similar experiences and how you cope with dietary restrictions and find ways to still enjoy food and manage to stay healthy. **

**Please note, this site is intended to be an account of my own personal experiences; please consult your doctor/allergist/immunologist in regards to your own personal diet and nutrition.

  1. Have you tried the cappellos gluten and corn free pasta? They are made of almond flour. Have you heard of any other brands that make a wheat and corn free pasta?

    Thank you

  2. Hi Crazy Allergy Girl,

The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness is holding a chef’s table event in San Francisco and we’d like to invite you! Can you email me off line for more information?

    Thanks!
