crazy allergy girlI love food.  Eating, cooking, dining out, shopping for it….  in 2009 I was diagnosed with multiple food allergies/sensitivities and have since been seeking out ways to continue to eat well and stay healthy/allergic-reaction free.

I’m allergic to Corn, Wheat, Barley, Oat, Sweet Potato, Carrots, Peas, Peanuts, & Legumes.  I have friends who have Celiac disease and am familiar with the Gluten-Free diet.     My husband is severely lactose-intolerant … (me, mildly, but  I love  Lactaid Pills!);  so throwing that in the mix definitely makes for extra caution in my kitchen.

This site was developed to share my experiences living on a Corn-Free and Wheat-Free/Gluten-Free diet.  I have found many resources for either a Wheat-Free OR Gluten-Free diet OR a Corn-Free diet… but not these restrictions combined.

I hope to hear/share similar experiences and how you cope with dietary restrictions. ** Please note, this site is intended to be an account of my own personal experiences; please consult your doctor/allergist/immunologist in regards to your own personal diet and nutrition.
