Hi, I was just wondering if you knew when Harvest Market in Walnut Creek went out of business? I was excited to try it for lunch today and it was closed :(

Love your site, thanks for all the helpful info!

Hi Dan,
Thanks for visiting. I hope to continue to provide useful resources for those of us with multiple food intolerances. As you mention, the corn + gluten is especially difficult.

Take care and good luck; would love to hear about any tips or foods you come across.

Best,
Karen

Hi Karen-

Thank you for posting a wheat and corn free alternative to the wheat-free tamari on your site. Very helpful. Thank you for the dedication. I have an intolerance to corn, gluten (non-celiac), almonds, most fruit from deciduous trees, and an allergy to cantaloupe (I'm sure I've missed one on my list) and allergies to a bunch of non-food items. Apparently the corn and gluten free intolerance combo is a rare and where I am intolerant to things grown in dedicuous trees, your can't eat things grown in/on the ground. Nice to see I'm not alone (well...not "nice" per se, but misery loves company). Seems you've found a lot of the same food alternatives I have. I've just found your site so if I know of anything you don't have here I will pass it along.

Thanks again and best regards,
Dan

Hello Tess!
Thank you for visiting my site! I can't wait to visit Lydia's Kitchen in person; I hope to come by very soon. In the meantime, I checked out your site and loved reading about all the wonderful products offered and wrote a post. My husband is also lactose-intolerant, so we both look forward to trying some dishes at the Cafe soon.

Many thanks and take care!

Hey there,

I searched "gluten-free marin" and your site came up. I work for Lydia's Kitchen Cafe, a gluten-free, organic, and vegan restaurant in Fairfax, CA. We are looking to reach to the local gluten-free community as a place that is completely safe to eat at. We also sell food (fresh and dehydrated) in grocery stores in the area. Perhaps you would like to check us out, we would love to be on your list of recommended.

I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thanks for providing a resource like this for people!

Have a good one,
Tess
