This is one of my all-time favorite French treats. Since my food allergy diagnosis, I assumed that I couldn’t eat them. This San Francisco Chronicle article made me realize that these delectable cookies are made from almond flour, sugar and egg whites (among other things). I buy mine from a great patisserie in San Francisco’s Ferry Building: Miette. Délicieux!
