Thanks to my friend Alexandra, I now have a new favorite Union Square lunching spot. Crepe O Chocolat is a delightful French cafe. It’s cozy and tiny, making you feel like you stepped into a true Parisian cafe. The owner cooks all the dishes and desserts herself (right there) and uses fresh, organic ingredients.
Her menu changes daily; so check in frequently for delicious gluten-free delectable treats, from Vegan Banana Bread Pudding to Flourless Chocolate Cake. I love that I can ask her directly what the ingredients are for everything; and since she uses ingredients such as agave nectar and rice flour for many of her sweets, there is no risk for my corn and gluten allergies.
